Kodi launches Leia 18.6 version with several improvements

The popular open source application has just launched its new version, Kodi Leia 18.6, with notable improvements, especially in terms of sound and reproduction.

The defects have been solved with the Dolby TrueHD 7.1 sound. Also in the option to continue playing audio in MPEG-TS streams. Headphone enumeration has also been fixed.

Kodi is characterized by being able to consume content via streaming as well as allowing content locally through a local network or remotely.

Kodi is one of the most popular IPTV applications and used both from the PC and from the Smart TV itself, although in the latter case it has to be equipped with Android TV.

It is not an application dedicated to IPTV exclusively, as it offers many other possibilities. It is open source and open source, managed by the XBMC Foundation.

Other improvements

Support for videos in Dolby Vision via streaming with an addon has been added. This way, you can access better content with HDR. Other minor errors related to searching for content have also been fixed.
