The streaming service BritBox has announced its availability on LG smart TVs manufactured from 2014.
The service is also available on Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV and Google Chromecast, as well as Samsung, Panasonic, Toshiba, JVC, Hitachi and Bush TVs.
BritBox is additionally accessible on PC and Mac via britbox.co.uk, plus Apple and Android smartphones and tablets.
The company will add support for other Freeview Play Smart TVs and YouView devices in the coming months.
BritBox, streaming service from 2016
The BBC public network and the largest British private network ITV, decided in 2016 to create an alliance to form BritBox, a streaming payment service with the aim of competing with Netflix and Hulu. It was born with the mission of distributing throughout the planet the series produced in the United Kingdom by both television networks.
BritBox started operating in the first quarter of 2017 in the US market with the ambition to expand to other international markets.
