DAZN has won the live and on-demand rights for the UEFA Champions League in Germany for the next three seasons.
The new deal will run from the 2021/22 season, which is also when DAZN will begin streaming 106 Bundesliga matches per season.
For the UCL, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, DAZN will stream 121 out of 138 matches from the playoffs to the final. Every match, except one per week, will be live and exclusive with the final shared with free-to-air.
In addition to broadcasting its live content offerings that are required by the television rights, DAZN in Germany has several linear channels that are distributed by the 19.2º East orbital position of the Astra satellites.
We recall that for Spain it is the Movistar+ platform that has the television rights.
